Blues, rock guitar legend Phil Para has become known as one of Australia's most dynamic guitarists, vocalists and songwriters. Notably holding down a residency at the iconic Espy Hotel in St Kilda playing every Saturday to packed houses for over 25 years. Phil's name became the stuff of legends with touring artists such as Metallica, Eric Burden, Adrian Belew and many more dropping in to see him play. Carlos Santana cited Phil in an interview saying "Phil may even play my songs better than me"
One of Melbourne’s hardest working and best-known musicians playing sold out shows every week, Phil and his powerhouse trio, perform a range of his original rock/ blues/ latin fusion songs alongside classic guitar-oriented covers such as Hendrix, Santana, Clapton, Rolling Stones, Stevie Ray Vaughan etc. Phil’s multi-instrumentalist son Denzil Para joins him on drums, guitar, and some vocals and Jason Nehill drives the bottom end on bass.
